Dr Kristy Goodwin

Speaker, Author, Researcher

I’m a digital wellbeing speaker, author and researcher, sharing brain-based hacks for peak-performance in a digital age. Tory helped me to think strategically about positioning myself as a global thought leader in the digital wellbeing space. She helped me to critically evaluate my online presence and optics.

Our sessions provided me with immense clarity over the tangible steps that I needed to take to be recognised as a thought leader.

I now have a clear roadmap for the actions that I need to take to elevate my brand and attract my ideal clients.

What is your background?

I’m a digital wellbeing speaker, author and researcher. I share brain-based hacks for peak-performance in a digital age. I was an academic, before becoming a speaker. For the past nine years I’ve spoken predominantly to parents, educators and health professionals about the impact of technology on children and adolescents’ physical health, mental wellbeing and learning, but in recent years I’ve started to research and speak about adults’ digital behaviours and how they’re impacting their productivity and wellbeing.

What did you want to change about your life and why?

I wanted to refine and elevate my brand, as I transition more towards speaking and consulting with corporate clients and audiences. I wanted to find smart, magnetic ways to share my message with a broader audience. I wanted to find optimal ways to position myself as a global thought leader and Tory’s business acumen, PR experience and understanding of energy was what attracted me to working with Tory.

Why did you come to Tory?

I needed clarity and strategic guidance when it comes to repositioning my brand and building connections and partnerships with corporate clients.

What advice were you given, and where has it taken you to today?

Tory has helped me to think strategically about positioning myself as a global thought leader in the digital wellbeing space. She has helped me to critically evaluate my online presence and optics. Our sessions provided me with immense clarity over the tangible steps that I needed to take to be recognised as a thought leader. I now have a clear roadmap for the actions that I need to take to elevate my brand and attract ideal clients in an aligned fashion.

Elizabeth Vagianos

CEO, thelovekick.com

I love being in the business of love. I started my own business as a love coach for freedom, but was starting to feel trapped by the confines of what I thought I should be doing and sharing.

I wanted clarity, so I could feel inspired to show up and serve my tribe every day.

I came to Tory after seeing her on an IG Live with Gina Devee. I immediately knew that I had to work with her. I wanted to be inspired and empowered in my life and business and knew she would be the person to help me. Tory challenged me to include the things I am passionate about in my life, into my business. She suggested a rebrand that would infuse my love of beauty, fashion and fitness into my business. Today I am in love with the business I am recreating and am excited to show up everyday!

Naomi White

Leadership Consultant, naomi-white.com

I am a leadership consultant with a lot of strings to my bow. I am a consultant, executive coach and mentor, executive advisor, team developer, facilitator, speaker, connector and people strategist. I came to Tory because of her background as a successful publicist and entrepreneur.

I needed someone who could help me with ‘brand me’—I can do that for others, but I was struggling to do it for myself.

I wanted her perspective on strategies to get traction in a noisy market, and I wanted her to help me break free of my self-imposed limitations and challenge me to think bigger and bolder.  I love her fearlessness, her direct, no nonsense/get down to business style, and her infectious energy and passion.

Tory gave me strategies for engaging with my audience that I never would have thought of, and she’s challenged me to throw my inhibitions to the wind. I’m excited to see what comes next.

Why was it important for you personally to do mentoring sessions with Tory Archbold?

“I believe I was personally touched by how Tory addressed a large crowd at Let’s Connect Women’s Wellness Summit in February this year. She spoke in such an authentic way from her heart, sharing her personal journey which showed tremendous vulnerability and courage.

“Her passion for what she believed in was infectious and it was crucially important for me to align myself with someone who had similar values. I knew from the very beginning that her integrity and her ability to deliver would empower me to step outside my comfort zone and transform my business. She truly believes and understands the power of connectivity and how powerful steps can propel your business forward.”

What are you planning to achieve by your mentoring sessions?

I will aim to achieve a sense of clarity over the principles and purpose of who I am and for my business. Having just recently moved my practice from overseas after 20 years in Singapore, Tokyo and London, I need the tools and confidence inspired by Tory to create my own authentic connections to grow my business forward in a meaningful and organic way. I have always been passionate about mental health and helping others but these sessions will help me to transform my creative ideas into action and ultimately money so I can utilise my international experience to expand my business globally.”

What’s the most inspiring thing about your mentoring sessions with Tory?

Tory has the unique ability to not only ignite passion and creativity during every single session but to also inspire me to be bold and courageous in my dreams. I am also inspired by her positive growth mindset and self-belief in her process of aligning yourself to your true values. We are united in our belief that it is a magical process which not only delivers but more importantly sparks joy for us both.”

What motivates Tory to do her business mentoring?
After 18 years working as a high-powered publicist in her own company, Torstar, in Sydney, Australia, you’d think Tory Archbold would have her hands full but she’s motivated to do her business mentoring because, quite simply, she loves seeing people succeed.

“I think the secret ingredient is really identifying where you want to be and what steps you need to take, and to be accountable for them,” she adds.

What’s the most inspiring thing about your mentoring sessions with Tory?
